Håkan Nesser

Borkmann's Point is a prize-winning crime novel by Swedish writer Håkan Nesser, first published in Sweden in 1994 and translated into English by Laurie Thompson in 2006.

The Mind's Eye is a 1993 novel by Håkan Nesser in the Van Veeteren series, translated into English in 2008 by Laurie Thompson. Nesser was awarded the 1993 Swedish Crime Writers' Academy Prize for new authors for this novel. A TV series based on the novel was produced in 2000, see The Mind's Eye.

Woman with Birthmark is a 1996 novel by Håkan Nesser, which won the Best Swedish Crime Novel Award in the same year. The English translation will be published in 2009. It was also made into a Swedish mini-series for TV in 2001.
