A graphic novel that tells the story of a young girl's childhood and young adulthood growing up in Iran during its Islamic Revolution. This is the first graphic novel I have ever read and at first I was a bit skeptical. However, I quickly became interested in it and read it much faster than the rest of the class. The illustrations are great and really add to the tone and emotion of the storyline.
