Die Geschichte des fatalen Feldzugs unter Napoleon ist spannend erzählt. Kritisch hinterfragt der Autor die Motive der Feldherren, Soldaten und Zivilisten und vermeidet dabei, ein Narrativ überzustülpen, sondern stellt Unklarheiten und wahrscheinliche Zufälle heraus. Tolles Buch.
