Here's the thing : she makes one excellently point: we need to think about what we're thinking about. Bad thoughts are poisonous and negative. We need to think about it what we're thinking is helping us. The reason I rated the book so low is that she never deviated from this point or came at it from a new angle. I felt like I was reading the same thing over and over again (which maybe works for some people in the right circumstances but didn't work for me.) I also felt like she was either wrong or loosly applied a lot o psychology concepts (which arent worth getting into because I really do want the best for her and think she helps people). I think she undervalued true heart tranformation and life changing emotional and spiritual stimulation with others. I get it though: she is totally right that churches nowadays do not focus nearly enough on some of the basic principles of thinking right thoughts (which I think has lead her into so much success as well as a feeling of so much honesty ! And transparency ! (About feelings, thoughts, and emotions) which I feel like a lot of well meaning pastors and preachers leave out.
