The video was released by Evil Angel and co-directed by John Stagliano and Ernest Greene, with Tristan leading the workshop and performing in the orgy at the end of the video. A second video, Tristan Taormino's Ultimate Guide to Anal Sex for Women #2, was released in 2000.
The second movie showed one-on-one instruction from Tristan for each scene, a pegging scene, and different actors. Both movies received high critical acclaim and the first won two AVN Awards.
