Tutti i nomi è un romanzo di José Saramago, uscito in Portogallo nel 1997.
Il romanzo narra la storia di un mite impiegato che un giorno, spinto da una pulsione mai provata prima, comincia ad indagare sulla vita di una donna sconosciuta, lanciandosi in un'avventura nella quale si trasforma e che lo cambierà.
In tutto il romanzo l'unico nome che appare è proprio quello del protagonista e nessun altro, pur essendo centrale la tematica dei dati anagrafici e dell'identità.

It is a very well written book, which is no surprise for Saramago. In terms of my own personal objectives in reading (mainly pleasure and reflection), I would like to point out I found some specific sentences very interesting (such as when the ceiling is considered a character which is always watching the person who lives under it), but I also think that the second half of the book is too slow, with less interesting aspects than the first half.
