Den unge Werthers lidelser er en roman skrevet af den tyske digter og forfatter Johann Wolfgang von Goethe. Romanen var hans anden roman. Den udkom i 1774 og gjorde med ét Goethe berømt i hele Tyskland. Romanen var en af de bedste eksempler på Sturm und Drang-bevægelsen.
