It's been awhile, since I read this book. But every now and than I catch myself thinking back. Waris Dirie is such a strong, strong woman and I am so glad she told us her story! Honest, emotional, hopeful, dreadful, with laughter and tears. She lived a life so far away from everything I know, that sometimes I had to remind myself, that this is a true story. That this things really happen. I admire Waris Dirie for her strengh and her bravness. A really emontional read, that I am never going to forget.
